Medical-Surgical Nursing

A medical-surgical nurse must provide care to the patient before, during and after surgery. They can also assist patient, surgeon, surgeons, surgical technicians, nurse anesthetist and nurse practitioners. Before surgery, they most prepare patient, surgery room. During surgery, they must help the surgeon, what surgeon needs, and last phase. After surgery, they provide suitable care to the patient.
